The Flash – What’s Next?

The Flash… last episode we saw Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) face off against Captain Cold and Heat Wave. We know there is a trilogy story line set for Arrow… but what is next for The Flash?

Next week’s episode (ep. 11), “The Sound and the Fury” promises the entrance of one vengeful Pied Piper (Andy Mientus) in the meta-human mix of characters. Hartley Rathaway, once the protege of Dr. Harrison Wells, suffered as many did from the effects of the particle accelerator accident. In other news, Iris (Candice Patton) gets a new job, and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) recalls the good ol’ days when he began working at S.T.A.R. Labs.

Check out the promo for next week’s episode of The Flash below.

Ep. 12 “Crazy for You” shows Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Barry attempting to move on with their (love) lives. Barry has the great luck of meeting Linda Park (Malese Jow) at a bar and makes a connection, which elicits a surprising reaction from Iris. Cisco is described as considering an offer from the Pied Piper and Barry’s father (John Wesley Shipps) does some investigating for Joe (Jesse L. Martin), which gets him into some trouble.

“The Nuclear Man,” ep. 13 of The Flash appears to be a more in-depth look into Firestorm and what has happened to Ronnie (Robbie Amell) since the particle accelerator explosion.

Last, but certainly not least – the promise of more crossing over between Arrow and The Flash. Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will be making a trip to S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City in ep. 18 of The Flash. One can only imagine how much fun the tech geek will have in the lab full of toys and Cisco! Perhaps The Atom will be further developed by this time – or maybe we will see S.T.A.R. Labs play a part in that development, as we recently saw Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) in Arrow refuse to assist Ray with a hardware issue.

Stay tuned on Tuesdays on CW at 8/7c for more of The Flash!
